Donate to the Celebration

Although the TC Schools 50th Anniversary has passed, you can still make a difference. Contributions to the Celebration fund will be accepted as long as the form at right appears. Your donation to the Temple City Schools Foundation benefits educational activities for the children of Temple City. |
You can help make the TCUSD 50th Anniversary Celebration a huge success. Or as you were no doubt taught by your English teacher NOT to say, a HUGER success.
Contributions received will be used as follows: 1. We'll spend money frugally to handle the inevitable expenses of printing, local travel, office and telephones. 2. We'll purchase supplies and safety and sanitation equipment and services for the event. 3. We'll support this web site with information and services only for TC Anniversary subscribers and supporters. Funds let over after we pick up the trash will be donated to the TC Schools Foundation or to TCHS Alumni Dollars for Scholars®, which is is developing an endowed scholarship fund for TCHS graduates and their families. Of course, if you put your trash into the approved receptacles we can put more $ into the fund. Your assistance is gratefully appreciated. |
What We Will Do with the Money
VOLUNTEERS. The next few months will see a growing need for organization, transportation, writing, accounting, and finally event-related services like marshals and ticket takers.
MATERIALS. We'll need paper goods like envelopes, paper stock, forms, placards...
SERVICES. We'll need printing, long-distance service, hauling, accommodations at great rates, car rental deals... (The hosts of TCHS Alumni News have provided our web services at no cost.)
SPACE. During the several months leading up to the event, we'd love to have an office in or near Temple City.

MONEY. Some things are priceless. For everything else, there's a bill due. All cash contributions are welcome. Any net proceeds will be donated to TCHS-related scholarship programs. Donate by check or on line via credit card.
